i know you have all been dying to hear my reaction to Lucien Freuds potrait of the queen , but i have only seen a detail so i will reserve judgement. ( although Mr Freud can usually do no wrong)

i have watched moulin rouge 8 times in the last 72 hours and read the best of lists . its split in the middle between love and hate. i adore musicals so of course its my fav movie of the year , i have a LONG bus trip tomorrow so i will elucidate over christmas
