alright tomorrow

6 bucks for the cd
5 bucks for the photocopying
a bit broke b/c of welfare money

but i think that i can handle that but i cannto handle the bus money on top of that (plus i dont have the motherfucking money for the ten dollar sin card, and the bitch who handles the dole isnt up to par)

i also need:
edit the list of artists
send every peice i have to one email.
shuck everything into an envelope
to print out and collate the paper i have with slides and such ie table of contents (email inbox)
call welfare.
see how much a healthcare card costs
fax back the writers contract back to robin

if i go into the city at 6, sort everything that i need to, push it to the limit, and swipe back at noon, so i can do the faxing and the calling and all that shit...

i should have done this instead of the works yesterday

(read:
andy warhol as priest--boring and overly formal
the religious art of andy warhol--ace but didnt go deep enough, didnt examine the earlier work enough
nicholson baker--one of those small volumes from vintange in honour of their bday, i love his writing, his solidity of reading, his nostalgia, and his academic sheen, his sex books dont do much and i like his fiction better then non fiction.
june jordan essay collection--astonishing, wise, funny, a little too raw on the rhetoric, but one of the better essays on ethnic constructions of language ive r ead.
clyde fans (again, by seth--i think its better then at first, though i still feel awkard about the forced awkardness)
learning from las vegas (brilliant, fractured, funny and raw book that seems less and aless realvent in vegas itself, w, wynn and company, and more and more realvent to certain edge cities--someone should write a book called learning from witchita )--61,
and one more
which maintains my habit of 2.5 a week.

still working on
the gurlanick bio of elvis (a month and i havent hit 300 pages)
jack keouracs journal from the late 50s
the second volume of nixon transcripts (called abuse of power, which always makes me think of the spooner an abuse of power comes as no suprise)
camera lucida by barthes
ethnographic study of mexican americans and our lady of gaudalope
