thinking about cory doctorow, and his short story when sysadmins ruled the universe, about the end of the world, he writes with great mystical tenderness about server farms, and is incapable of writing about flesh, thinking about that in relation to the washing machine in someone leaves town, someone comes to town, or the subtext in the disneyland story or craphound, he seems to have found (or devolped) an estachology(sp) that works w/o incarnation, that is oppostional to the western tradition of incarnation (excarnation?)

speaking of the incaration, had lunch with rev joe walker (blog here, who used to be the cleric for the anglcians at the u of a, but is now doing parish work at st thomas' in laurier heights. v. kind, v, bright man, with all the right questions, and a gentle, socratic style, talked for 90 minutes about all the usual jesus shit, but he wouldn't let it rest on cliches, and talked about patience, time, etc (also the incarnation, miracles, cherrypicking scripture, joy, family historys, work/life balance, parables, politics, et al.) continuing i think...
