took the bus to calgary, listening to the sixths and bonnie prince billie . got to calgary about 8 ,tok a cab from the depot. had dinner and a deink and watched one fine day w. george clooney .


observations: Clooney is charm incarnent and it was a good film . i still feel like an adult when drinking . i am tired and happy.

flipping thru the channels today i saw cnn. it showed a clip of the argentine president in a helicopter rising effortolsy over the streets of beunos aries . the economy has collpased and the citizens are rioting , and when the government has decided to flee in such a conspicous way it doesnt bode well

i bought an english import marriane faithfull , which means i know have twice as many of her albums as the rollingstoes . I think she is one of the most important interpertive singers in the last 50 years ,The two Dylan songs she covers here are intensly erotic and meloncholy, more sexual then i assume dylan meant them but as lonely as he did , including the heartbreaker "its all over now baaby blue" , the song in which where even the furniture retreats and the dead stay put . Its cast of skeletons and theives and ghosts and pure isolation , faithful makes it sound world worn and ragged and as i said erotic , while dylan just makes it sound a bit odd .
