I'm not sure if the Chapman Bros are impt provoectours who discuss taboo issues of sex and death as a sort of post freudian cleansing or just dirty boys who like to shock.

Also the turner is out, while most of it is dull, i find chapmans work confusing in its intentions and complex enough to intruige. More impt, i find Anya Gallaccio's because i could not stop temporal, beautiful and haunting--a bronze tree is hung with "real" apples, they rot and fall off, decaying and staining gallery floors, the trunks stay permanatly forever. (she also pressed red gerberas, those innocous flowers of weddings and births, into the wall with plexiglass, so they also rot, making the walls stain red)
