i have this little digital camera, and i like the voyueristic, domestic (theories about the interlation of the two ?) immediacy of it all. (taken photos of coats in the halls, candids of friends, kitchen still lives, out of the bus windows)

i wonder if the thrill i have re: the click, discard, save, dissemate snapshotness is similar to how we felt about polaroids or even brownies (it gets quicker, slicker, w. less seams--how did walker evans feel about polaroids in realtion to warhol ?

(cf/cc photologs, like this one or this one that have great photos, regardless of genre, or perhaps in the midst of creating a new genre--one that moves art vs documentary and finds room in both (has photography been headed this way or always had it (rodcehnko (sp), bresson, lange, evans, gedny, frank ?)
