Your Autobiography


When you write your autobiography, please include in some detail the following subjects:

1. Your family history i.e. what kind of family you grew up in, your relationship with your father, mother, and siblings.

2. Your educational background

3. Your work experience

4. Relationships you have had with both men and women. What role has friendship played in your life?

5. Your spiritual journey and why it has brought you to consider living the monastic life—and in particular at St. Benedict's Monastery

By including the above subject matter in your autobiography, along with your answers to the five statements in the brochure, you will help me to consider our compatibility i.e. your background, preferences, bent; in short your suitability for the kind of life we live here at St. Benedict's Monastery.
