Another hard core "logical" fascist that might be inspiring Bushco, havent really read Schmitt like i've read Strauss, but Schmitt is odd in that he has inspired the left.

Scmitt seems to have things to say about the nature of power and how it relates to States, so he is a govermental foccualt, who was connected to Neitsche ... someone I am reviewing in my own head.

(when you wrestle w. power there seems to be two ways of going about it, one recognzing that every interpersonal interaction comes with a power dilaectic, and then mvoing past that, or utlizing that for its own means...)

(side note: what does religion have to do w. these people, how does their view of G-d correspond w. their view of the world---strauss being a jew and schmitt being a catholic)
