saw some lovely mexican wrestler stencils today, on the s ide of a building whose black paint was peeling into grey sqaures, so they were framed.

i like stencils better then i like tagging, its more formal, more serious, and more conceptual--why a mexican wrestler, what is the iconography of the mask ?

(i saw it w. ashley, who uses stencils in his work, and who's work is as iconographic as anything ive seen)
