Howard Jasper--Canadian Folk CArver, mostly known for uncanny and haunting birds, his storks and herrings look like ibis and his crows look like death.

Hugh Martin--Swiss fotog, the absorbtion of natural matter over manmade, and the aesthetics of decay--but swiss so clean and pretty (brilliantly composed, and good sense of graditation of colour, not sure if i really like him (hes at the gallery at yorkville, you guys know it, the one w. the big farfard cow in the front, and an series of wonderfully coloured abex drawings)

Jack Bush's Early Canvases look like every Canadian Painter ca 12-20.
