speakinf of neurotic, ash and i went to applebees the other day, and it was super creepy, i had a salad, and it was greasy--deeply greasy, and the serving size, could without exaggaration feed 4 people, ashley had a basket of fries, and he sizing was similar, that and the cak on the walls, the fact that everyone there was 70, and the general fake cheer made it feel both exotic and uncomfortable

dont feel uncomfortable with curried goat or sea urchin, but get a spinach salad with garlic shrimp at applebees and well yeah
