These rebels have kidnapped american and australian diplomats as an act of self defense, and as a way to let the world know what they know, namely that the phillipine gvt may have been selling weapons to communist and islamic exremistis as well as staging terroist bombings for sympathy and aid for us defence.

The BBC took that photo down w/i 8 hours, i think because of how healthy and clean the rebels look, the image they replaced it with is an ugly fatigued man with his hand towards the camera, which is reminiscint of the perp walk, the violent and ignoble revoutionary and the soilder who cannot control his instincts.

this is frightening, in that the bbc has lied to us, changing the image was moving from fact to propghanda, and from reportage to poltically motivated disinformation.
