might be my favourite, with a large black screen door, and silver flashing. the brick detailing, and the dirty stucco places the cleaniness of the window in stark relief

is like 3 but it is a window and not a door, the flashing on the left is twisted, the window is slashed with white mud, it looks like a drawing and not a foto, it looks like twombly

the two doors are almost out of the frame, the window is off centre, the stucco has much wider sweeps then the other work

some of these are so close togehter, they abut and they are what my mother said of sherwoood park elephants on postage stamps, if suburban architechtual photography in the west was about space, about the accumlation of space, even in a cvernacular sense, then having photos like this one, with buildings abutting each other, in a monumental way sort of takes the piss out of that tendency--monumental in their colouring, in how they are presented in the frame, in how they are lit and how the photos are constructed themselves

another detail shot, but the black dirt in the lower eighth of the photo makes the first organic apperance (orangic as in mess, the trees in 23 and the grass in other shots is too artifical, too well constructed, the tendency is to work against the organic instinct
