i think the most powerful thing about the oneida community is that it chose to disband in 1851. it had a community meeting about it's own disoultion.

as well, it seems to be less about sex, the religious c ommunities here in genreal seem to be less about sex then their reputation has settled, and more about how to live amongst each other--even the titles for work against monogomy--plurarl in the lds, complex here, has a lingustic edge, we want to live lives of complexity, of pluralism, god calls us to live lives of complexity, and pluralism.
