When i am in edmonton i have 5 dollars of change hidden in my backpack for people who need it more then me. Sometimes it lasts the day , most of the time it lasts the week. In Vancouver it didnt last the hour, i was 25 dollars short in two days. When people are hungry and i am spending money on luxiries i feel guilty. But you can only afford so much and i gave up. I looked in there eyes and said sorry.

As a human it feels like a common bond to make sure everyone is fed. I cannot do it alone. Our governments are gutting social programs and providing tax cuts to large corprations . Not for profits and concerned citizens can only do so much for those are desperate.

Christ told his people explicitly a dozen times about the evils of greed . He rallied violently against usury . He made sure the pariahs were healed and the pharises were and what do most churches rally against. Homosexuailty ( using a fairly obscure section of Romans), Abortion ( Christ did not mention it once) and making church cool for young folks. Well in the name of Christ how about following the words of Christ , I cannot provide all the hepl to all the beggars but lets pressure the government to "turn swords into plowshares" , lets tax corprations. Let them pay even 1 % of there gross net profit irrgeardless of shelters. I know it wont be the eye of the needle. Lets seperate church and state, let the rome for the ceasers . Lets share our loaves and fishes *( the miracle there was not creation out of ether but people giving that which they hid ) Remember Matthew 25:35-46.

I know there will be athesits and jains and jews that read this. These laws seem human and i am relating them to christ because i know the bible well enough to make my case. This came to light after hearing about John Howard winning in Australia . He claims he is a Methodist, a man of Christ but destroys refugees, makes the hungry starve, and encourages War. The same with George W. Bush . Maybe Neitsze was right, maybe the last Christan died on the cross.
