1) that means, if christs body was fantastic, it would not shed blood, and since he was perfected, w/o sin, he shouldn't have bleed.
2) but christ bled, at the circumcision, at Gethsemane, on the cross, so his body was not phantasic, it was as real as my body or yr blood, the flesh was not perfected.
3) this is the central mystery of christendom, isn't it--the phantastic (in all senses of the word) and the real--or as yeats writes:
But Love has pitched his mansion in
The place of excrement;
For nothing can be sole or whole
That has not been rent.'
