also momus's new essay new essay on density and urban sprawl--good if a little bit self concious. talks alot about how many people per sqaure hecatre and agitates for cities and public transport, which i have been doing of late, esp. since reading the ipsos read poll in the globe a month back which pegged canada at one of the most urbanized nations on earth (72.9 %), completley at odds with our mythology
