I dont know anything past the most basic of sci. education, as my mind shuts off the mintue these things start being discussed, but this list of basic errors found in text books for k-6 students seems really frightening.

If we cannot teach the basics to elementary students, then how do we expect them to have a larger basis, it is like building the house upon the sand.

The other thing i wonder, is are we doing this in english as well, are all of our kids critical tools (and sci. does a good job at giving kids those tools) being blunted, and if that is the case, what are the implications and why is it happening ?
