I think once football as a concept was nominated for a nobel peace prize, and it has done an enourmous amount for statesmenship. (think of the last world cup, where colonized Senegal won over Colonizers France)

Now a soccer leauge that has sprung from Narobi slums to be world class athletes has been nominated for the prize by a norwegian judge.
