Is the fact that they are cutting budgets for air marshalls an indication that terrorism is no longer as much of an issue, or is this economic convenience immedaitly trumping large scale concerns or is there anything going on ?

rereading the link, it has been revised and ammended ot a new policy.
the old one would have cut marshalls on flights to denver,frisco, la, nyc and chicago.
