crown point press was one of the best gallery expereinces, like evah, aside from having a large collection of prints from artists i love (Appleby, Balderssai, Bechtle, Diebenkorn, Katz. {faff. Ruscha, SCully, Thiebaud, Tuttle), the woman who ran it, took each print out ,explained to me the process carefully, and answered my questions, over 30 or so works.

also saw the musem of the african disapora show on digital africa, catherine clarke (walter robinsons pop pervision and obsession with surface tension are totally rachel's) and a few other things.

fairly disapointed by my presentation, the conference isnt a good fit, and few people showed up, but my co-presenters were the best kind of collegial.

i am going to treat this as a vacation and the conference as a kind of bonus.
