You need to stop having expectations about the awesomeness of singles, just appreciate them when they're excellent and let them go if they're not for you. Pop music requires Zen detachment, not Catholic devotion; pop idols are not actually saints, they just happen to intercede for you sometimes by grace, not by design. Chris Piuma
