New show on the WB feautring an adolsecent clark kent. it is set in the here and now and it features a naked man on a cross (as a freshman stunt that someone died earlier), Lex and Clarke saving each other lives, Lana Lane as intrepid girl reporter, Clarke finidng his strength by stacking pickups like dominos in the parking lot of the home coming dance

It seems to be reaching all these refrences from those early discovering your idenity subtexts which seems to tie into superman the comics constant early subcurtenous refrences to identity as a jew and an immigirant. As well it seems to connect to the recent finding literal monsters instead of subconcious monsters (cf Buffy and Rosewell). It has the highschool jocks and freaks compenoant of most teen soaps, the wb pop soundtrack as well. A fascanting excerise in postmodernsim . WATCH IT !
