the frame is all wrong, so ignore it. things i love about the painting

the colours are all of the same vague shades
its like cezannes st victorie with out trying to be obsessive and epic
i can imagine him having a window this small, on the top floor of his house in provence
it is so self contained ,so intimate, so interorly(sp) directed.
