We are not alone,
we live in God's world.

We believe in God:
who has created and is creating,
who has come in Jesus,
the Word made flesh,
to reconcile and make new,
who works in us and others
by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:
to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope.

In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.

We are not alone.

Thanks be to God.

the united church has gone to the desert with its laity, and they are praying together for direction, for a way to change the creed above to something that is all things for all people, from the lesbian radicals to the conserative old gaurd, who have founded something called the united concern.

church with them on sunday was moving, thoughts of god as genderless, of the world of unjustice rooted out and brought to light, as inclusionary, as one who have lifted their sails to the winds of god, who have found a way to move between old and new.

i shouldnt have gone, it felt like home, more home then catholicism recently.
