also saw hell house last night, a doc on the houses created by evangelical xians in dallas to broadcast a v. narrow view of christianity, it included such wonders as 6 seconds to be saved; award cermonies for best rapist, a woman who took ru 486 and had her cunt bleed buckets of blood, a fag who died of aids, and went to hell b/c of his "homosexual lifestyle choices" and other such nonesense, but also managed to document the people behind this, talk about it as legitmate theater, talk about the catharsis and biographical sadness that makes this kind of thing nessc. ... a movie that went beyond mockery and into a surreal feeling for and because of the members, worth seeing.
