i have a woman (a wife of a friend of mine; who also happens to sing opera) who did her degree and knows people, and has read for presses at harvard (where she has a degree) who agreed to read my pages, and see if she could place it at any east coast academic presses...

and my toronto agent has given my contract to a guy he knows in buffalo, because i will most likely end up selling this to an american, rather then a canadian publisher, since it is about american religion.

also i have fucked over raymonds credit, because i

a) believe people who are trying to sell me two years contracts.
b) dont have a credit card so i need to depend on other people.
c) didnt bother paying my bills on time& having bills lost b/c of the constant moves and other general chaos.
d) being a fuckwit.

(am seeing a credit counselar who works for the disabled monday though)
