ash wednesday

i didnt go to church, though gerard sent an email, reminding me that pancakes on tuesday meant mass on wednesday (and i think i agree with that, every fast has its feast)...in the spirt of lent, i have found a united hymn book, some collections of luthers writings, a catholic missal, and the book of common prayer. i will not read deep and long, like last year, i went thru the apostles creed, and tore it apart, but wide and shallow, like spreading seeds, like ruth as a gleaner.
