1) the woman looks so much like a building, the edges, and angles, and spheres, how he makes buildings is how he made this woman
2) how she unveils her breasts, is a way to unviel the church, a call towards honesty, and also, a way of moving the fuctionalism away from marys (and womens breasts)
3) and also, him calling it we too shall be mothers, is a kind of misogynst message, he is still buying that women can be mothers or nuns, and by that extension eroticises the breast as feeder tube, making it no different than medevial madonnas, manguel writes about it in his book on art, reading pictures:
