Kentucky Bardstown-BasicallaOne of the first churches ever made, when the cumberland gap was crossed and when Bardstown was assumed to be the capital. Huge, Fedearlist brick edifice.
From Bardstown west, there are aabout a dozen early log cabin baptist and assembly of god churches, that led to the Abbey of the Gethasmani, which is both famous and v. v. pretty (more then pretty, white plaster, fieldstone, etc...really simple.)
Mass. Boston AME Zion Church aka The African Meeting House. AME Zion was a revision of Methodists for African Americans, invented in 1796, and this is the oldest Black Church building outside of America.
