Alex d Waal tells of how the world ignores africa, how little it knows about its history and the implications of that history, and how any of the solutions that have been proposed for Darfar is too little too late.

he also talks about how we need to let those who live in the land do what they do, they know what to eat and how to eat it, to trust them  and to learn from them is wiser then pushing thru like our old colonial selves.
