im not sure how much of this is hasterets wet dream and how much of this is policiy, but there is discussion high up in the gop that they should replace the irs with a sales tax (regressive tax, punishes the poor, the rich dont pay taxes anyways, undemocratic, against the founding fathers, may be a test balloon)
